Terms of Service.
Document Version: v1.0 • Effective Date: 24 July 2026
Welcome to Ovrix Workspace ("Ovrix", "Service", "Software", "Extension"). Ovrix Workspace is a privacy-first, local-only browser workspace manager designed to help power users organize, search, tag, and manage conversations across supported AI chat platforms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or activating Ovrix Workspace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms outlined in this agreement, you may not access or use the Service.
2. Product Description & License Usage Rights
Ovrix Workspace grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the extension on your personal browser instances in accordance with designated software tier limits (Free or Pro).
3. License Activation & Duration
Ovrix Pro features require activation via a valid license key. Upon activation, Pro features—including unlimited folder creation and advanced organizational tools—are unlocked for the specified duration (e.g. 365 days). Expiration automatically limits access to the Free tier without altering or deleting your existing local data.
4. Prohibited Activities
You expressly agree not to:
- Share, distribute, publish, sub-license, or resell license keys to third parties.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code from the extension beyond permitted scopes.
- Bypass, alter, or circumvent software entitlement controls, license validation algorithms, or feature access restrictions.
5. User Responsibilities & Data Control
You are solely responsible for maintaining local backups of your workspace metadata using the JSON export capabilities provided within the extension. You agree to comply with all applicable local and international laws when using Ovrix Workspace.
6. Service Availability & Platform Feature Changes
Ovrix Workspace operates locally within your browser. Because the extension interfaces with third-party AI platforms (including ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity), structural updates made by these platforms may temporarily affect metadata discovery until updated adapters are deployed.
7. License Termination
Ovrix reserves the right to terminate or revoke license access if a license key is determined to be fraudulently obtained, shared publicly, or used in violation of these Terms.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. IN NO EVENT SHALL OVRIX BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES—INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR WORKFLOW DISRUPTION—ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE.
9. Contact Information
